Here at the bluebelle it became A family passion to create memorable & unique events for the bemidji area. This is how it all Began…

Growing up, we always knew our mom had big dreams of owning a business. From an early age, she taught us to work hard and follow our passions—no matter how big, scary, or far-fetched they seemed. She has always been our biggest cheerleader, often putting her own dreams aside to let us chase ours.

Mom has forever been “the hostess with the mostest.” She found joy in bringing people together and celebrating life’s big and small moments. Her creativity and love for us shone through in every themed birthday party and festive family holiday. Often, our celebrations included people we barely knew—those who simply needed a place to belong. That compassion, that spirit of generosity, stayed with us.

She passed her love for events—and her heart for people—on to us. So much so that Jaimee followed her calling to become a wedding and event coordinator.

Then in 2016, Jessa got engaged, and our family began the hunt for the perfect wedding venue. But here in Bemidji, our beloved hometown, there weren’t many options. That’s when the spark was lit.

What if we could do the impossible? What if we could start a family business that brought our love of celebrations and connection to life?

And so—here we go.

It took all seven of us—time, energy, late nights, and lots of learning—to make this dream a reality. Through this journey, we’ve grown closer as a family, deepened our love for our community, and discovered our own place in the event world. And we’re just getting started.

Working side-by-side and watching our mom—one of the most deserving women we know—finally see her dream come true has been the most rewarding part of it all.
