What happens in case of rain?
-
In the case of rain we have a beautiful indoor ceremony site that holds up to 215 guests. Our couples have loved having a “Plan B” because it takes away the worry of unplanned weather and doesn’t require a room flip other venues require, which would be disruptive to your event.
Do you allow dogs onsite to play a part in our wedding day?
-
We are dog friendly, with some specific rules. Dogs are allowed at the ceremony and pictures. Animals, other than service animals, are NOT allowed under roof or near food. Dogs must be on a leash and someone must be responsible for them other than the bride and groom.
Do you allow personal décor or outside decorators on property?
• Absolutely! We wholeheartedly welcome any outside decorating businesses or vendors to help bring your wedding day dreams to life and make it even more extraordinary!
How do I reserve a date?
-
To reserve a date email us at [email protected] saying you are ready to book XYZ date if it is still available.
• We suggest you email us stating you are ready to book your preferred date and then include a backup date in case your preferred date is unavailable.
• We will hold a date for you on our calendar for 1 week, free of charge!
• Prior to booking a date, we hope you are able to come out in person to visit the Bluebelle. You can request a tour (or a Facetime tour if you live out of the area) on our tour request form, but an in person tour is not required prior to booking a date.
• Dates are reserved on a first requested basis. Whomever has requested to start the contract process from us by email first for a specific date will be first in line.
Is catering included in the rental fee?
• No, catering is not included in your venue rental fee. Our recommended caterer will collaborate with you to determine a set meal price (usually between $18 – $30 per person for a lovely meal) based on your selected menu options!
Most meals are served buffet-style. You also have flexibility in choosing your tableware, whether it’s renting dishes through our caterer, a third-party rental service, or purchasing your own quality disposable tableware for your wedding day!
Do we have to utilize your caterers and bar service?
•Yes; for the benefit of you, your guests, and our venue staff! Initially, we permitted outside catering because we thought it could be a great benefit. However, after five years of accommodating various caterers, we’ve realized that not all caterers uphold the same standard of quality and care for our couples and their guests.
While some caterers were exceptional, others seemed more focused on profit than on creating a memorable experience for the couple. We encountered issues with caterers arriving hours late and unprepared, running out of food, and even sending untrained staff. Though many new caterers were wonderful to work with, a negative experience could have a significant impact on us, the couple, and their guests.
If you have a highly recommended outside caterer that holds great importance for your wedding day, we are open to allowing an outside catering buyout for a fee of $250. This fee covers the additional staff member required to manage the unknowns and potential labor associated with an outside caterer.
